Processing the point cloud

- [Narrator] Processing the point cloud is the first step in creating the remaining assets from your Pix4D image reconstruction. The point cloud is generated through the analysis of matched images, and will choose pixels that eventually become the 3D point cloud. The DTM, DSM, and other assets are based on this data. Point clouds generated from Pix4D can be used in other third-party platforms and are a very versatile data type for a wide variety of data extraction and visualization applications. We use point clouds all the time, from scanners, from drones, and all kinds of things at our company, and I find this data type very rich and interesting to do a lot of different things with. So here we're going to set this up to process these point clouds. So the first option here is the point cloud densification. You have this image scale option here, and you have the option of going down to 1/8 or up to full. It defaults at half, because Pix4D suggests that at full, it's actually not…
