Looking at the gear used in the kids' photo session

- We're back at the house and ready for our photo shoot today, but before we get started, I thought I would let you take a look at the gear that I brought after meeting the family yesterday, seeing the space, and meeting the little kids as well. So, a few things I brought with: I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II, which I brought, and I currently have my 35mm 1.4 lens on. Indoors, I find that gives me enough space to back up, and then still have enough room to get nice and close, those shots and drop it down to the low light that I need for indoors especially when we have a hazy day where we have a little bit of clouds in and out like we do today. The other lens I brought was the 50mm 1.2 lens, as well as I borrowed the 24-70 2.8 lens. One suggestion I have is before you make an investment in any lenses, borrow them, rent them, try them out for a week, see what works best for you, and for the look you're going for, if it's bokeh, if it's low-light, if it's having your wide-angle lens, try…
