- The hope of many photographers is to someday be known just by looking at their work. Maybe the best compliment you can get is to have someone recognize that you took an image just by looking at the image alone. If you've found yourself frustrated because you don't have a unique voice, start the process of finding out who you are. The journey has to start from within to know yourself so that you can create from a personal place. As you begin the journey to develop the mind of an artist, consider these questions as a good starting place. What would be one sentence that would describe you and your photography? How can you make your photography scarce or of higher value to clients? What differentiates your work from the masses?
