- Alright, welcome to the day four solution movie. Your challenge was to go out and to photograph someone with a prop, or an object and to do so on location and to use the background, almost as if it were a texture so we're drawn into the subject, and we're not really noticing the environment as much. For this particular challenge, what I decided to do, was to choose this beautiful object. I just love the leather, and the brass, and of course the whole concept of searching, or looking. So I asked my buddy Owen to head down to the beach and we went down to the beach and what I was trying to do was to position him so that the background was really far away, so that it was more a blur, more of a texture, and I gave him the object. And, first of all, it was about figuring out which way to hold it, whether he was to hold it on one eye, or another, or which hands, because we don't really use these objects very often and so I wanted to experiment with that.
