- After she was on that little swing, Zoe decided she really wanted to go to the big-girl swings. She asked her daddy, Please, daddy can we go over there? Of course! It's her day! Of course we can go over there. So he brought her over there and he placed her in the swing. He's great. He knew instantly that I would want her facing away from the sun, with her whole body in the shade with the sun behind. It looks great. This picture is honestly my favorite photo of the day. Something about how she's just looking at me, holding on to that swing, and him with his arm there. She looks like she owns it. She looks like she's boss and she knows what's going on. That park is hers. But, something that made this image just even more spectacular was the fact that her dad was standing behind her. It's a little distracting, but at the same time there's a huge benefit to it, and that was because he was blocking the sun that was hitting the side of her face.
