- [Instructor] Okay, I have to show you another thing that I think is a little weird right now. Take a look at the currency number, the three decimal places. That's weird, isn't it? Three decimal places are the default for the currency data type in a data verse. There is actually a reason for that and more than one place that we could possibly change it. The reason Microsoft is allowing extra decimal places to be more precise when you're figuring out things like currency exchange or rounding amounts. Now there are other data types with decimal capabilities. There's the floating number point and the decimal number. And interestingly, the default for both of these is two decimal places. Although you can have as many as 10 decimal places for a decimal number. But anyways, let's fix the current problem.
