- [Instructor] Working with business process flows can be relatively straightforward, but I think that there are some things people need to understand about the background framework that allows them to operate. Now, I personally find this background stuff a little convoluted, but I'm going to try and give you the important points as simply as possible. This will make things easier when we're actually building our BPS so bear with me for a bit. I think we have to start with the Dataverse which was formerly known as Common Data Services. Now at its heart this is just what it sounds like, a service that shares common data to be used by business applications. Microsoft has been working on this for a while now in cooperation and conjunction with Adobe and SAP. In O 365 up to this point, the Dataverse has shown up mostly in Dynamics and Power Apps.
