Connecting to an app
- [Instructor] There are many Microsoft and other online services that can be connected to Power BI through an app. To get data from an online source, select Get Data. In the Discover content area within the services tile, select Get. You can scroll through a list to find the service that you would like to connect to. Let's connect to LinkedIn Sales Navigator Analytics Integration. Select Install. A notification appears that it's installing an app. Once the app is ready, a notification appears and the app appears. Select the app, then select Connect to connect to the data. We'll leave the default settings by selecting Next and then select Sign in. You will need to sign in with the credentials that are associated with this application. Once connected, a dataset is uploaded and ready for building reports and dashboards. And that's how you connect a service through an app to Power BI.
