Format and export data from Revit to Excel
- [Instructor] To smoothly bring data into Power BI, one of the things that we'll need to do from the Revit environment is export out our schedule as a text file. And one of the things that we want to do even before that is actually clean up the schedule slightly so that it's a little bit easier for us to read that text file when it comes time to bring it into Power BI. So the first thing that we want to do is inside of the Revit environment is to find the schedule that we created earlier which is this room schedule two. By the way, if for some reason you don't have Revit and you've been trying to follow along up until this point, the file that I'll be producing which will be a text file will be saved inside of the exercise files folder for this course. Now I'm just going to open up the room schedule two. Now the first thing that I really don't want to see is the title, this room scheduled two. It just makes life easier…
