How to lay out your report page for maximum effect

- [Instructor] Now you've got a tab structure with a rationale behind it. The next question is how to lay the visuals out on the page. How many should there be and where should they go? Some of your tab logic can be reused here. Is there a purpose to this report page? A user starting at one point and working their way through to a conclusion. If so, you can order your visuals accordingly. You could even use arrows or visual indicators. People read web pages from top left to bottom right at least in the UK. So if you want a grid layout you could use this sort of layout one, two, three, four or sometimes going vertical first and then into your columns. But this grid layout tends to be visually quite unsatisfying. So a question to ask yourself, is whether some visuals are more important than others? And if they are, make them bigger. Some visuals such as maps or decomposition trees simply don't work small. So whether…
