Pinning a report to a team channel
- [Instructor] A Power BI workspace is connected to a team of the same name in the Microsoft Teams app, and the Power BI report can be pinned to a team channel. Start with the team channel in view where the report needs to be pinned. Then select Add A Tab. From the list of apps, select Power BI. The tab name is highlighted. You can type in whatever name you would like to appear as the tab within this channel. Let's name this Finance Report. Next, select the workspace where the report resides that you would like to display here. For this, let's select Finance. A list of the reports are shown below for you to select. In this case, let's select the radio button next to Finance Report. Then select Save. Once the report is connected and pinned it will display within the Finance Report tab as seen here within the Financial Analysis channel of the Finance team. And that's how you can pin a Power BI report to a team channel.
