- [Instructor] Now we have sampled the full menu of delights from Power BI, the question becomes more one of design. How do you design a report to be beautiful and highly functional? This section will focus on the principles of report layout. And the first question is, how many tabs do you need and what are the best principles of splitting content between those tabs? Well, first there are some no-brainers. Let's say that you're going to embed the report in a web page tab by tab. So instead of seeing these tabs at the bottom, users will see another form of navigation, which will link to each of these pages. Developers often do this so they can manage the permissions of each page individually. If you embed the whole report in one go then permissions can only be granted at a report level. So if you've got permission groups to consider if this is true of your report, you will need to separate content based on audience…
