- [Instructor] If you do not already have Microsoft Power BI installed, I do want to mention that currently as I record this, on the website powerbi.microsoft.com, and currently I'm underneath the en-us/download section, on this menu you have an option for all the different kinds of Power BI's that you can download. And specifically for this course, I'll be using the Microsoft Power BI Desktop and this is the free version of your Power BI. Now, because it's the free version, that means that it does not have all the functionality of some of the paid versions of the software, which I'll talk about in the next video. That being said, is that if you're just a single user trying to use Power BI, all the functionality that you probably care about, you can get to the free version. And everything you'll be seeing in this video series, you can use in the free version. To download, you can either come over here to Download, which will take you to the Microsoft Store where you can download the Microsoft Power BI Desktop, or there's also an Advanced Download Options. And if I select on the Advanced Download Options, it'll take you to another webpage where it allows you to just directly download the Power BI Desktop. You can specify which language that you would like to do, then you can select on Download, and that will download the free version so that you can do the course.
