- [Instructor] Animation is a great way to add a storytelling element to your slides. Remember this slide? I had a nice picture here. And in this slide the same picture went dim and some text appeared. I'd like to have this text appear slowly and then maybe to add some drama, we can add the logo. So let's get started creating an animation. I'm going to first select the text box. I'll change to the Animation tab, and now I can choose an animation to appear. As I click on each animation, I can get a preview of how it's going to look. I like the fade animation, but I'm going to choose Effect Options. I can have it add as one object, all at once, or by paragraph, and I can even further fine-tune it by clicking this tiny little down arrow on the bottom right to open up a dialog box to give me some more options.
