Aligning objects using guides

- A PowerPoint slide is big square to fill, and one thing that can make a good presentation look really polished, is when everything lines up perfectly. You can do that with the use of guides, which are lines that automatically appear when an object is centered or evenly spaced between another object. Let's see it in action. I'm going to create a new slide underneath my Executive Team. I'm going to make it a blank slide. The first thing that we need to do before I start adding pictures, is make sure my guides are turned on. I do that, by clicking the View ribbon tab and clicking the arrow pointing to the right underneath the Guides section. This is going to give me some more options for my Grid and Guides. I need to make sure that I have a check mark next to display smart guides when shapes are aligned. I'll click the OK button to get out of this dialogue box, and now I'm going to insert some images.
