- Let's go over some more neat things you can do while presenting. I have a chart here so I'm going to start my presentation from this slide by holding the shift key down on my keyboard and hitting F5. It's going to start my presentation. If I move my cursor down to the bottom left-hand side of the screen, I can click the pen icon. There are some tools in here that I can use. The first tool is the laser pointer. I can select this tool and bring focus to a particular point in my slide that I want the audience to be able to see. I'm not marking the slide. Just showing them where I want them to look. I'll go back to the pen icon. I can also choose a highlighter. If I choose a highlighter, I can mark several areas of the slide that I think are important. If I need to, I can use the eraser to erase anything that I've marked up. In addition to a highlighter, I also have a pen tool. Using the pen tool, I can draw on the slide. I can circle. I can write.
