- [Instructor] Hello and welcome back to presentations tips weekly. Today we're going to take a look at how to create 3D shapes and text in PowerPoint from scratch, okay. Let's get into it. So let's go down to a blank slide here and let's go ahead and grab a shape, this is just a regular old shape that you would use in everyday design, let's grab this, maybe this tear drop here and I'm just going to go ahead and draw my shape. Now, to make this 3D, it's actually very simple, you just have to do one thing to enable that and you have to go, let me close this up so you can see. This is where you would go in your format pane where you would do a drop shadow or something like that. Usually we ignore our 3D format and 3D rotation down here, but this is where you go. 3D format, then we just go all the way down here to depth and we go to size and we can change that to something like maybe 75.
