Displaying the Recording tab

- PowerPoint for Office 365 has a built-in recording tool which allows you to record your PowerPoint presentations. With the steady increase of online teaching and the need to make resources available online, this tool can be exceptionally helpful. The recording tool sometimes isn't available by default, however, so let's first look at how to turn it on. First, navigate over to the File tab. Then head down to the bottom for Options and this pulls up a window for customizing PowerPoint. Choose the option Customize Ribbon and then scroll down just a little bit and select Recording. When you hit OK, the Recording tab should now be available. Selecting this Record Slideshow dropdown lets you choose whether you want to record from the current slide or starting from the beginning. And once you pick one, you're taken to the recording area.
