- [Instructor] I'm Joel Simmons, aka the Presentation Guy. Now what comes to mind when you hear stock photo? Maybe corny, cliche, fake. We've all seen the businessman on a ladder with binoculars looking for opportunity on the horizon. Or maybe a bunch of beautiful diverse people with their arms crossed giving us their best icy stare. Now there's nothing wrong with these, but if we're a little bit more strategic in choosing our slides, we can really turn an average slide into a really awesome slide. Let's go into a few examples. Okay, now this isn't a horrible slide, it's a little cheesy, but it's not too bad. All right, we're going to beat out our competitors. It's straight to the point, we're trying to beat our competitors, we're trying to pump up the team, right? Not bad. I think we could do a little bit better.
