- [Instructor] Charts are a powerful way to help your audience visualize the data that you're sharing. For the MOS exam, you'll want to know how to insert and format charts. We'll create a chart, change the chart type, change the chart style, add a legend to a chart, and import a chart. I've opened 04_02 Hotel from the Exercise Files folder, and we'll start with creating a chart. A common task would be to insert a new Title and Content slide after the Dining Options slide. I'll go ahead and find that Dining Options slide, then I'll click on New Slide, and I'll choose Title and Content. In the title, I'll enter Customers Served this Year. I could add a chart by clicking the chart icon in the content placeholder, or I could go up to Insert and choose Chart on the ribbon. Both options would provide this dialog box where I can choose the chart that I'd like to work with. In this example, I'll be creating a pie chart.
