- [Narrator] Working with images is a core part of PowerPoint. For the MOS exam, you'll need to know how to insert images, resize and crop images, and apply styles and effects. I've opened 03_04 Hotel from the Exercise Files folder, and we'll start with inserting images. I'll scroll down and select Slide Five, where you can see I've got a title and two areas for content. As we're inserting images, there's a couple ways that we can do it. Any time you've got a layout with a content area like this, notice I can move my mouse over these icons, and find the option to insert various types of content. In this example, I'm looking for Pictures, so I'll click the Pictures icon. I'll select the guard image from the Chapter Three exercise files, and I can double click to insert that image. So that's one option, the other way to insert pictures, is to click Insert on the ribbon, and choose Pictures. I'll choose the phone booths image, and double click to insert that image.
