Insert and format shapes and text boxes
- [Narrator] Let's take a look at inserting and formatting shapes and text boxes. We'll learn how to insert or replace shapes, insert text boxes, resize shapes and text boxes, format shapes and text boxes, and apply styles to shapes and text boxes. So I've opened 03_02 hotel from the Exercise Files folder, and the first thing we'll look at is inserting or replacing shapes. I'll start by scrolling down and adding a new blank slide after Slide 8. I'll select Slide 8, click the New Slide down arrow, and choose Blank. It's great to use blank slides when you're going to be inserting shapes or objects. I'll click the Insert tab on the ribbon, and then choose the Shape option. Notice there are a ton of shapes to choose from and they all have names. Pay attention to your instructions on the MOS exam and insert the correct shape. We'll start here by inserting an oval.
