- [Instructor] There are number of tools you can use to insert and format text. Make sure you know how to insert text on a slide, apply formatting and styles to text, apply WordArt styles to text, format text in multiple columns, create bulleted and numbered list, and insert hyperlinks. So, I've open 03_01 Hotel from the exercise files folder. Let's start with inserting text on a slide. I'll scroll down and select slide nine where you can see some text has already been applied. I'd like to add some bulleted texts but I can see that the text that's included here is a little bit too big. So, I'll go ahead and select this text, select the border around it to select the entire placeholder. One of the really nice formatting tools on the Home tab of the ribbon is to increase or decrease font size, and go ahead and click this and decrease the font size until it nicely fits on two lines.
