Presenting live online
- Microsoft gives PowerPoint users a free service called the Office Presentation Service. This allows any user to follow along with your presentation in their web browser. This is also called webcasting. You do need a Microsoft account first and you can get one for free on their website. You may already have one if you subscribe to a service such as Xbox Live or Office 365. There's a few ways to present online. You can click the Slide Show ribbon tab and choose Present Online or you can also click File, Share, and then click Present Online. You do need to decide whether or not you want to allow your remote viewers to be able to download the presentation or just watch it on their screen. Click Present Online. If you aren't already signed in, you'll be prompted here. In my case, I've already signed in so now I'm just waiting for Microsoft to prepare my presentation. Depending on the size of your presentation, it could take some time for it convert so be sure to allow a good 10 minutes…
