- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to be giving you a little tour of the record slideshow feature, so you can better prepare to record videos and audio right from within PowerPoint. So to get started, let's jump up to the Slide Show tab and click on this button right here. Record Slide Show. And that's going to open up a view that looks just like this. Now perhaps the most important area to notice first is the area in the upper right hand corner. Settings. Clicking on the Settings menu, this is where you'd go to set up what microphone and what camera you'll be using for recording. Now if you have more than one microphone plugged into your computer, and that's kind of typical if you have a microphone coming in through your web cam and a microphone plugged in like I do, like my headset. Here's where you'd go to pick and choose what microphone you want for recording. Typically you want a microphone that will be a little bit closer to your mouth. You don't want to use the microphone…
