Using add-ins for educators

- [Instructor] Sometimes the core version of PowerPoint won't do exactly what you'd like, and you'll want to customize it to your class. In those cases, consider exploring the wide variety of PowerPoint add-ins. An add-in is a third party application designed to work within PowerPoint, enhancing its behavior. To find add-ins, visit the File tab within any presentation. Towards the bottom of the left hand pane, you'll see the option Get Add-Ins. Select it. The conditional window that pops up next will take you to the Microsoft Store, where PowerPoint add-ins are conveniently sorted into browsable categories. The one for our purposes is Education, which aggregates apps that have some educational value. You'll see a wide variety of add-ins, which offer everything from quiz functionality to image banks to design assistants.
