Customizing PowerShell for comfort

- The PowerShell console is a screen that you're gonna be staring at all day long. You're gonna open and close it, you're gonna be looking at it, you're gonna be typing commands in here, and you're gonna need to be able to see it clearly. Let me give you an example. You need to be able to see the difference between these characters. I've already set mine up, but see how there's just a little bit of difference especially when it's a single quote and a backtick. These can be very hard to identify, but you need to be able to clearly identify them when we work with PowerShell syntax. So I wanna make this easier for you. Let me show you how I like to get my PowerShell console ready to be used. First of all, you might remember the old command console. Well this has similar features to it if I go in to Properties. Under Properties, there's a couple of tabs here I want you to take a look at. Under Options, I always make sure the QuickEdit Mode is selected, and in this case with the PowerShell…
