From the course: PowerShell for Exchange Administration

Exchange mail flow introduction

- [Instructor] So, in this section, we're going to take a look at the mail flow in Exchange using PowerShell, of course. So, we'll start by covering the Send and Receive connectors so that our Exchange Server can send and receive emails like any Exchange Server should be able to do. And then we'll take a look at managing transport rules, so we can edit emails in transit. And, then, something else that's really sweet is using PowerShell to track down emails and message tracking logs. This is immensely useful, and you can very quickly track down an email, whether or not it was received, or maybe if someone got a bounce back, what the error was, that sort of thing. And then, finally, we'll take a look at the test mail flow cmdlet, so that you can make sure that mail flow is working properly in your Exchange Server.
