- [Instructor] So if we're going to talk about 360 degree videos today, we're also going to talk about 180 degree videos. As in, different production companies looked at how people were consuming 360 content, they noticed specifically in a head-mounted display a lot of the times a viewer would not turn around 180 degrees to see what was behind them. So now we have 180 cameras that only capture half of the sphere which is what is the majority of what your end-viewer is going to look at. Regardless of the fact, 180 and 360 degree storytelling present a number of challenges. Travis Cook's quote at the top of this image kind of displays this, we have to actually rethink the film making process. How do you capture a camera interview and how do you move a camera without making someone nauseous? This is something that we're going to discuss more in the post production considerations but things you want to keep in mind for storytelling, we got to rethink of how you capture your material.
