Adding masks to the Lumetri effect

- When working with the Lumetri effect it's possible to add a mask. A mask makes it easy to isolate the effect to only one area. This is useful, because it allows us to correct different parts of the image differently. For example, the foreground here versus the background. What I want to do is really refine this. You'll see the two shots back to back here and what I've done is affected this. So here's the before, here's the after. Now let me explain what happened. On the before here we selected it and made a basic correction. Using the tools here let's increase the Contrast a bit and lift up the Shadows and give this a little overall boost here in Vibrance, Saturation. The wood looks good, but not so much the sky. Well, that's okay. Using the Pen Tool here I can click and it's a matter of clicking and if you want, dragging.
