another tool you could take advantage of is the Roto Brush in After Effects. While Premiere offers great masks, Roto Brush is going to intelligently track the footage and allow you to cut the footage apart into different pieces. This can allow you to send footage over, extract it to its own layer, from the background. Let's take a look at using After Effects's Roto Brush for more advanced color correction. In this case, we have a lot of moving subjects, so I'm going to split the subjects from foreground to background. The first step is to take the clip, and I'm going to duplicate it so there's two instances of the clip. Now, I'll right-click on the top one and choose Replace With After Effects Composition. If it's not already running, After Effects will launch. Let's give this a save, and we'll call it Roto. The clip is added to the project.
