- Let's move on to actually learning the Lumetri effect. This a very powerful tool, and you'll typically work from top to bottom as a standard workflow when fixing color and exposure problems. We'll start with the basic section. In your project, go to folder two. Alt + Double-click to open that bin. This will isolate the view to just that bin. We've stepped inside. I'll start by opening up sequence 2.1. To make things a little bit easier in the timeline, click the panel menu, and close all other timeline panels. This will isolate the view. I'll press the backslash key to view things here, and you'll see two instances of a shot. Typically throughout today, you'll see that the first shot in the sequence is unaffected, and then I've given you a reference version afterwards for correction. This particular shot is video of a field, and it was shot using a logarithmic color space. If we take a look at our scopes, let's isolate our view here to just the Waveform Monitor initially.
