Attaching captions in Adobe Premiere Pro

- In order to implement captions, it's a good idea to take advantage of some software. In this case we're gonna turn to our first non-linear editing tool, Adobe Premiere Pro, which has excellent support for captions built in. In this case I've opened up a sequence that already has captions applied. You'll notice that the captions appear on the screen. Now, if you don't see them, you might have to enable them. This is done under the settings menu here, and choose closed captions display, enable. In this particular sequence as well, we're currently using CEA-608 captions, which is the previous standard for captions. We may also take a look at 708 in a moment, and depending upon what you're doing, you'll see that different formats are supported by Premiere Pro. As I drag through, the captions begin to appear.
