- So what is the Essential Sound panel? In essence, it is an all-in-one panel that lets you mix and repair your audio. You can unify volumes, repair your sound, improve clarity, and even add special effects, all in there. Let's go ahead and open the sequence named 4.1 Audio Types. So Sequences, Chapter Four, 4.1 Audio Types, double click it and it opens in the timeline. Now let's go ahead and change the workspace to that of audio. You can do it two different ways. You can click on this audio menu right here, or you can go to Window, Workspaces, and then choose Audio. Either way, it's the same result. And now you see that the Essential Sound panel is here on the right-hand side. Please go ahead and click on the Edit tab if it's not visible.
