Automatic audio ducking
- [Narrator] The essential sound panel offers a fantastic automated audio-ducking feature. That means dropping the audio level of one clip in response to the audio level in another. It's what radio DJs use when speaking over music. Let's take a look at how it works. I'm in the audio ducking sequence in the audio workspace and I've already identified these clips as dialogue and auto-matched their loudness. And I've identified this music as music and auto-matched its loudness. I've also applied a clip volume adjustment of -18 dB. Which I find is a good balance for background music. I'll play it just a little bit so you can hear the mix. - [Video] I couldn't say what it was, but suffice to say, I would know when I saw it. - [Narrator] So, it sounds okay. The voice is pretty clear and the music's not intrusive. But I'm going to enable ducking here in the essential sound panel which selectively reduces the audio level of music…
