Building a correction and look toolkit

- The more that you color correct and grade projects, the more that you'll realize that you're often required to perform the same tasks over and over and over again. A warm look, a cool look, add some grain, maybe add a window or shape around somebody's face to brighten it up. No matter what the task is, having quick access to things that you've done in the past is a very helpful thing. And I like to call that a look and correction toolkit. In this movie, I wanna show you how you can essentially set that up in a tool like DaVinci Resolve. We previously talked about using the gallery for stills folders for the individual project. And in this individual project, we saved off versions of looks that we liked. But I also mentioned that here in DaVinci Resolve, we have a folder called the PowerGrade library. Now by default, there is one PowerGrade library folder, and it's called PowerGrade 1, but we can rename this and we can also create multiple PowerGrade libraries or multiple PowerGrade…
