A few years ago, if you asked me about AI creating compelling stories, I would say no way. Even still to this day, I believe there is something about the human condition, that cannot be conveyed through an automated process. There is however, some automation in the stories we tell. Trailers and even feature film, rely on certain rules and paradigms. For instance, a dialogue scene often starts with an establishing shot and as the story gets more and more dramatic, you may cut into a close up. These rules could be learned by an AI computer, and well, it's best if you take a look at some of this for yourself and see what's already been done. So when we start talking about AI making compelling stories with production as well as post-production we also have to talk about the idea of creativity.
