- You have a script, you've got some great ideas, you're going to need actors or volunteers to bring it to life. Sometimes when we're putting together a commercial we're using real people. Maybe it's volunteers for an organization, from a non-profit. Other times it's actors, and sometimes it's a mixture of the two. Rachel, you frequently are involved with the casting process here. Walk us through some of the ideas and some of the steps. - This is my favorite part, actually, I love doing casting calls. It's always an adventure, you never know what you're gonna get. But this is where your demographic comes strongly into play. You need to know who your target audience is. If we're doing a commercial that's targeting young women, you're not gonna cast a middle-aged woman, 'cause it won't relate.
