The Change Color effect and Change to Color effect
- Earlier, you learned about secondary color correction. Targeting one color and then influencing it subtly, reducing the hue, rolling the tint, sharpening. But if you need to make a more dramatic change, Premier Pro offers the Change Color and the Change to Color commands. Let me show you how they work. In the project folder here, I'll open up sequence 7.4. And let's just fit this into view. Here, you'll see that the red is very dominant. But using effects, I can tone that down. Well, I'm going to show you the filter I prefer less. That's the Change to Color effect. This one's a bit more aggressive. Let's type in the word: change. And I'll apply Change to Color. This allows you to make a selection. Let's hide the keyframes here. And simply select the color we want to change. I'll take the eyedropper and select. And now, I can target the to color.
