Changing the caption format (608, 708, and open captions)

- Sooner or later, you're going to want to switch 608 to 708 captions or either of the two to open captions. To do this, we need to able to modify our captions, and this is really similar to the idea that you're interpreting footage in Premiere Pro. The only caveat I'm going to say to you is that this time it seems to work best with captions you generate converting to open captions versus say imported captions. I'm gonna just go full screen here. You can see I've got some closed captions I imported earlier into the project. I'm just gonna bring the captions column all the way over to the left here a moment. There's one other column I need, which is the video info. I'd like you to see my imported ones came in at 720 by 480, and this has been kind of a little bit of a problem, and I'm hoping Adobe has it addressed, or maybe it's just your author making a mistake here, but I'm pretty sure that this is a sort of a hitch.
