Color grading for mood

- I'd like to give you a quick overview of some of the decisions that were made as we color graded the spot. Now, I'll show you a finished piece and talk through some of the things that were done, and then, you can go ahead and take your own hand at it if you'd like to practice. Let's take a look at the Graded piece here for a second, and I'll press F for Match Frame. You'll notice that this shot was brightened up a little bit. The next shot needed to match a bit because the lighting was slightly different. In this case, we had to deal with a shot that was a bit dark, and we needed to find the right balance. You see that the skin tones were brought out a little bit while still leaving the shot as is. All right, let's take a stab at a couple of these shots. I'll work through the first few, and then, you can play with the rest if you'd like. I prefer to switch to the Color Workspace to make this a bit easier.
