- In Premiere, we can use up to 32 channels, but mostly everyday we use stereo. Let's jump into Premiere and see what our audio tracks and outputs look like. So in Premiere the easiest way to see how to set up your tracks for stereo delivery, is to go and make a new sequence. I'm going to go to Tracks, and, I've loaded up a stereo template here, all ready, ready to go, for a nice clean sequence, where I have a track of narration. Now narration is usually mono, but I have it on a standard track. And the reason is is that it's so much easier to think all in one way. So I prefer to use all my standard tracks. It's nice to think all in one way, and since you can put mono on standard tracks, it's good to have conformity with all the tracks being standard. So that way there's no guessing is this mono, is this standard? And you can just put your clips on it and go, and know exactly where you're at, at all times.
