- As you start to work with a project, you may notice that certain color effects should be reused. Maybe the subject comes back later in the piece, or you come up with a look that you want to reapply. There are several different ways to reuse your efforts. All right, I'm working here with six one, and what I want to show you is how simple it is to copy and paste an effect. So in this case, I've got a particular shot and I want to reuse it on some other clips. Well, all I need to do is select a shot, and choose edit, copy. Now if I go to other shots, I can select those and choose edit, paste attributes. A new dialogue comes up. Now what you'll see are collection of options. In this case, for example, I see a motion effect, an opacity change and time remapping. Well, maybe I'm not interested in those. But I do see the Lumetri color effect and the older video limiter.
