- [ Narrator] You can create new titles and simple shape graphics right on the timeline in Premiere Pro. I'm in the Graphics Workspace and I've got the 'create new titles' sequence open. And I'm ready to add some text. Before I do, I'm going to go to the Premiere Pro application menu, and into preferences and timeline. This is under the edit menu in Windows. And I want to draw your attention to this option: Still Image Default Duration Any graphic media, any content at all that has no duration- It's a single frame- will have this duration by default when you add it to the timeline. You can change it, you can trim to pretty much any length you like. But, if you know in advance the duration that you're going to want, this is where you set it.
