- QuickTime video is an age old format on the Mac platform, it's literally been around forever. It is still a viable wrapper with which to deliver broadcast files. With any of these broadcast deliveries the key here is to check with your broadcaster about what formats they accept. Not all broadcasters accept the QuickTime wrapper but some do. Let's take a look at how you create these inside Adobe Media Encoder. I'm here in Encoder and I have a sample file already qued up and I just wanna go down into my formats and choose QuickTime. Now for delivery for broadcast you're gonna wanna use one of these Cineform codecs. And in terms of which one, again that's gonna be based on these published settings that your broadcaster will give to you. So we would probably choose maybe the YUV 10 bit and that's gonna be the delivery format. There's really no other choices there. This will match the parameters that are already in the video.
