Creating a selection for secondary correction

- Secondary correction starts by making a selection. Now, unlike a photography tool where you might use something like a magic wand, you're going to turn and use eyedroppers to select a zone of color or exposure value. Here's how it works. I'll open up sequence 5.2. And I want to target the sky first. With the effect applied, take that eyedropper, click the blue sky, and now click the box next to the popup menu. You can view this as color or gray, color over black, or a white and black selection. I'm going to start with color over black. You'll see the selection was based on hue, saturation and luminance. Let's de-check these second two boxes for a moment. And if the selection was only based on hue, you'll see that it's selecting the sky pretty well. By adjusting this, it affects a wider range of colors. That looks pretty good there. It actually has the sky quite well. Saturation is applying a limit, and while I can expand that to affect more areas, you want to be careful. In this…
