Creating your "Elements" project in Avid

- [Instructor] If you work 100% as a solo editor, this lesson may not be terribly applicable to you, but if at any point in time you are collaborating with others, whether it's one assistant across the hall, or it's an entire team remote around the world, you should make it a habit of creating what I call an elements project. An elements project is basically a reservoir for you to collect all of the various standard types of media that can be used across teams and other projects or even episodes. It's a very simple process to create one. The trick is making sure that everybody on your team adheres to the same standards. Now in this lesson, I'm going to be demonstrating how this process works with Avid and then at the end of the lesson, I'll briefly mention the one extra step that you're going to need if you're working with Premier.
