Creating your set

- One of the most important things to keep in mind when filming a subject with a multi-camera shooting approach is the lighting because you're using more than one camera and you're going to assume that they're not all in the same place. That lighting for one camera may affect adversely another camera angle. So you have to be extra careful to make sure the lighting is optimal for all angles. All the compositions from each camera compliment each other and are going to work editorially when they start putting the footage from each of these cameras together. So we don't want to duplicate shots and we want eyelines to be correct and we want head rooms to match and we want all the compositions just to cut together seamlessly as if it was one camera bopping around shooting coverage all by itself. I want to get all the coverage I need in as few passes as possible. So, each camera needs to do a job not duplicate a job. And you want to make sure you have enough cameras to get the coverage…
