- Watch folders are a powerful tool in Adobe Media Encoder to automate your in codes. There's a few tweaks you can make that can make these even more powerful based on how and where those files are delivered. Let me show you. So here we have our watch folder that we've previously set up. I just wanna point out that you can make certain changes here that are about how these files are delivered. So one is with the output folder, you can actually deliver the files to different places. I was talking to someone today and he was saying, there's no setting to upload directly to Dropbox, and I said well that's true if you're using a watch folder, but what you can do is set the output. So if I move this to somewhere that's inside my Dropbox, that's gonna sync somewhere in my films folder, which is all part of my Dropbox folder, then it will automatically save there and go to Dropbox.
