- [Narrator] Go ahead an open sequence three point two De-Esser and now play the timeline. - [Computer] Seward is beautiful Alaska coastal town. - [Narrator] You can hear in this audio file that there is a quality of it that it just sounds the s's a little bit too much. This sound is know as sibilance, and is produced by a combination of voice quality, in other words how the person talks, and mic placement. Luckily for us, there are ways to get rid of this sibilance. Let's go ahead and click on the audio file. And then in the essential sound panel, classify it as dialogue. In here, you're going to see that under repair, there is a section for de-ess. Let's go ahead and make this a little bit wider. All we have to do is click on the checkbox here for de-ess, and then as the clip plays, we will be able to change the value of the de-esser simply by either typing the number or scrubbing the value in here. Let's go ahead and do that. Play the clip, and as it plays, scrub this number. -…
